“Ika-5 Utos” is one of the most anticipated series to hit television. Apart from its intriguing plot based on fifth commandment “thou shalt not kill,” the show sees the reunion between Jean Garcia and Tonton Gutierrez, and the return of Gelli de Belen to the Kapuso network. Parang hindi tumanda. She has the same laugh, the same beauty,” he said, adding in jest, “In fact, she’s still not okay doing kissing scenes!” Jean considers Tonton a good friend. “And I really love working with him. He’s one of the few actors that will always make feel you comfortable on the set and during your scenes." As for Gelli, she hosted the GMA talk show “SiS” from 2001-2010 before moving elsewhere. Today, Gelli is back to “where she belongs.” “I really feel at home. They make me feel so welcome,” she said of GMA. “Ika-5 Utos” is about a hazing incident that led to the death of a dear son, uncovering old wounds between three mothers and their respective families. Its story is one of deep passion, lust, and heartbreak – all of which could poison a soul, even killing someone. Before this was the ultra-successful GMA show “Ika-6 Na Utos” or “Thou shalt not commit adultery.” That one proved to be among GMA’s biggest hits in 2017. Director Laurice Guillen assured viewers “Ika-5 Utos” will be heavier and more realistic. This show is set to intrigue viewers on varied emotions – how lust can kill lovers, how passion can ruin friendships, and how love can turn from deep to deadly,” she explained. Completing the cast are Neil Ryan Sese, Jeric Gonzales, Migo Adecer, Klea Pineda, Jake Vargas, and Antonio Aquitania. “Ika-5 Utos” airs Monday to Friday on GMA Afternoon Prime.
