Kia hopes to once again level up expectations for family and executive travel with the unveiling of the new Carnival. The new MPV is meticulously engineered to elevate family travel or moving executives with advanced safety features.

Bold new design

The new Carnival immediately makes a striking impression with its new look. It starts with the redefined Tiger Nose Grille flanked by unique vertical lamps and the captivating Star Map Daytime Running Lights (DRL). The rear also features Star Map graphic rear LED lighting and a newly designed rear skid plate. Buyers of the top-of-the-line SX variant will enjoy the 19-inch two-tone alloy wheel design adding an extra touch of elegance.

Luxurious and spacious interior

Inside the new Kia Carnival is a sanctuary of luxury and advanced technology. It come in a taupe and off-black interior finish, complemented by Premium Relaxation Seats for unparalleled comfort.

The EX trim features leatherette seats, while the SX model comes with fine leather seats. The EX variant includes an eight-way power driver seat with two-way lumbar support and second-row Captain Seats with reclining and manual long sliding capabilities.

The SX model offers an eight-way power driver seat with memory function, four-way lumbar support, and ventilation, wireless mobile phone charging as well as second-row Relaxation seats with power reclining, cushion, and leg rest functionality.

The cabin showcases dual sunroofs. The driver gets a best-in-class 12.3-inch Multi-Information Display instrument cluster with relevant vehicle information presented through a selection of customizable themes. Automatic climate controls allow further refinement of cabin comfort.

Cutting-edge technology

Entertainment is selected through the 12.3-inch infotainment system featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless connectivity. It comes with a six-speaker sound system, six USB charging points, and a wireless charger (SX variant). Additional practical amenities include three 12-volt 180-Watt outlets in the front, rear, and luggage compartment, along with multiple USB charging ports throughout the vehicle.

Exceptional diesel performance

Under the hood, the new Kia Carnival is powered by a 2.2-liter Smartstream turbo diesel engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It produces 202-PS and 440-Nm of torque, channeled to the front wheels. The Carnival offers four driving modes — Normal, Eco, Sport, and Smart.

Unwavering commitment to safety

The new Kia Carnival exemplifies Kia’s commitment to safety through the Kia DriveWise suite of advanced driver assistance safety technologies. The SX model features Smart Cruise Control and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist. Meanwhile, the EX variant comes equipped with standard cruise control. A 360-degree Surround View Monitor is available across all models.

In addition to these technologies, the Carnival boasts a comprehensive safety package, including an eight-airbag system, front and rear parking sensors, and additional side sensors specifically for the SX model. Standard safety features further enhance peace of mind with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Control, hill start assist, and ISOFIX anchors for secure child seat installation.

The new Kia Carnival is available in two variants: the 2.2 EX Diesel AT, priced at P2,888,000, and the 2.2 SX Diesel AT, priced at P3,368,000. Both variants come in Aurora Black Pearl and Snow White Pearl colors, with the SX variant will be available with a special Ceramic Silver color.

All variants carry Kia’s standard five-year or 160,000-km warranty. The new Kia Carnival will also be complemented by the standard Kia 24/7 roadside assistance, providing emergency towing, minor onsite repairs, and medical and personal assistance.
