Manila's free sports clinic a success - Mayor Honey

Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan announced the successful conduct of "Free Sports Clinic" under the auspices of the Manila Sports Council (MASCO) from June 18 to 22.

The "2nd Mayora Honey Lacuna Free Sports Clinic" was participated in by sports enthusiasts of basketball, badminton, karate-do, swimming and volleyball. 

According to the mayor, the objective of the program is to teach kids under 14 years of age the fundamentals of various sports discipline to keep them away from vices.

Meanwhile, the mayor also said there are plenty of activities lined up for the celebration of Manila Day, in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Culture and Arts of Manila (DTCAM).

She said the city is also currently holding the "Coronation Night of Miss Manila 2024: Woman of Worth" at the Metropolitan Theater with 24 women Manileñas vying for the prestigious title of Miss Manila 2024. 


The event is hosted by Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel, and Kapuso star Gabbi Garcia.
