CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- Three foreigners were arrested for illegal drugs after police confiscated from them during an anti-illegal drugs operation conducted by police authorities in Angeles City.
Sr Supt Enrico Vargas, Chief of Angeles city police, in his report to Chief Supt Amador Corpus, regional director, said that joint operatives of Angeles City Police Drug Enforcement Unit and City Intelligence Branch conducted buy-bust operation in B13 Lot 54-56, New York St., Timog Park Homes, Brgy. Pampang, Angeles City which resulted in the arrest of Alfred Yeboah, 32 years old, single, Ghanian national, businessman; Oseluanemon Omodiagbe, 35 years old, married, Nigerian national, jobless; and Michael Chibuzor, 28 years old, married, Nigerian national, jobless, all temporarily residing at said place.
Confiscated from the trio were six small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, one medium slightly opened transparent plastic sachet containing suspected marijuana leaves, three pieces glass filter containing suspected marijuana residue, one box rolling paper, three aluminum foil strips containing suspected shabu residue, digital weighing scale, one orange Toyota Vios sedan with conduction sticker A2C435 and Php3,000.00 marked money.
Appropriate charges for violation of Secs 5 and 11 of RA 9165 were filed against the suspects before Angeles City Prosecutor Oliver Garcia docketed under IS No. III-01-INQ-18H-00832-33.
Gen Corpus said that “we continue to work on double and no one is exempted in our relentless campaign to stop the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region.”
