Teen arrested for killing 15-year-old boy in Manila

Police arrested a teenager for killing a 15-year-old boy in Tondo, Manila on Sunday, March 27.

Police said the victim, Carlo, a resident of Tondo, died at the Mary Johnston Hospital after sustaining stab wounds in the body.

Police Lt. Col. Cennon Vargas Jr. said the 17-year-old suspect, also a resident of Tondo, was arrested during a manhunt operation.

According to the report of the Manila Police District homicide section, the victim and the suspect argued after exchanging jokes on Pacheco Street.

The teenager used a bladed weapon to kill the victim.

The victim was later seen lying bloodied on the roadside.

The suspect will be charged with murder before the Manila Prosecutor's Office, police said.
