'Voltes V: Legacy' returns to GMA this May 6

Relive the action, fantasy, and nostalgia as the groundbreaking series “Voltes V: Legacy” makes its most-awaited return this summer.

Headlined by Kapuso Ultimate Heartthrob Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Radson Flores, Raphael Landicho, and Matt Lozano, the historic live-action adaptation will be replayed on GMA Afternoon Prime beginning May 6.

Last April 16, GMA Network posted a teaser video of the comeback, which immediately gained positive reactions.

Now, avid viewers can no longer wait to rewatch the epic series! According to some netizens on GMA Network’s Facebook page, “OMG wish granted! This is happening! I’m excited! Papanoorin ko ulit ‘to! Happy na naman ang inner child ko!”

Some already felt nostalgic once again, “Just like the good old 90s! Anime sa hapon, ngayon naman ay anime live action sa hapon!! Tama ang rerun sa hapon lalo na magbabakasyon na ang mga bata sa school. Mas marami pa ang makakanood.”

The live-action series is produced by GMA Network in partnership with Toei Company, Ltd. and Telesuccess Productions Inc.

Acclaimed local animators from GMA’s Post Video Graphics and Audio team and Riot Inc. handled the program’s heavy CGI and other visual effects.

“Voltes V: Legacy” is produced by the award-winning GMA Entertainment Group headed by Senior Vice President Lilybeth G. Rasonable; Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy; Assistant Vice President for Drama Helen Rose Sese; and Executive Producer Darling Pulido-Torres.

The highly talented creative team behind this world-class live-action adaptation is composed of Creative Director Aloy Adlawan; Content Development Consultant Ricky Lee; Senior Creative Consultant RJ Nuevas; Creative Consultant Denoy Navarro-Punio; Head Writer Suzette Doctolero; and Writers/Brainstormers Liberty Trinidad-Villaroman, Jake Somera, and Loi Argel Nova.

Let’s Volt In Again to a super robot action in “Voltes V: Legacy” – under the helm of esteemed director Mark Reyes – beginning May 6, weekdays at 4 p.m. on GMA Afternoon Prime, Pinoy Hits, and Kapuso Stream.
