Volleyball star Jia Morado ties the knot with longtime boyfriend

Decorated setter Jia Morado and her longtime boyfriend Miguel De Guzman tied the knot Thursday.

The former national volleyball team member announced this on her social media account by posting a photo of her and De Guzman inside their bridal car.

“I can say, with 100 percent certainty, that I just married my soulmate,” Morado wrote on her Instagram post.

Fellow athletes that include Kiefer Ravena, Jules Samonte, Jho Maraguinot, Jem Ferrer, Maddie Madayag, Mika Reyes and Kath Bersola congratulated the newlyweds.

“Sorry we couldn’t make it. Congrats, guys!” Ravena wrote.

Ravena is currently in Japan competing in the B. League, while his longtime girlfriend and Morado’s teammate Alyssa Valdez is inside the Pinoy Big Brother house for the reality TV show.

Even celebrity Kim Chiu, who is an avid volleyball supporter, sent her wishes to Morado and De Guzman.

“Awww!!! Congratulations, Jia and Miguel!” Chiu wrote.
