DFA NCR-North Consular office closed Thursday for disinfection
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said the operations of its Consular Office in National Capital Region-North (NCR-North) located at Robinson’s Novaliches in Quezon City will be temporarily suspended on Thursday, December 10.
In an advisory on Wednesday, the DFA said the consular office will be closed on December 10, Thursday, for disinfection of the office premises and implementation of other preventive measures to prevent risks against COVID-19.
The DFA said applicants who have scheduled appointments on the day of the temporary closure are advised to secure a new appointment date via email, through [email protected].
“The preferred new appointment may be on any working day (Monday to Friday) from 11 December 2020 to January 11, 2021 during the CO’s regular operation hours (10 AM to 5 PM),” the department said.
Meanwhile, those applicants who might need urgent or emergency consular services from the CO NCR-North may also email their request.
The DFA said operations in the CO NCR-North will resume Friday, December 10.
The DFA also appealed for public understanding and cooperation amid the country's battle against COVID-19.
