Kim Atienza bids ABS-CBN goodbye

Kuya Kim Atienza shared an emotional photo that showed him hugging two persons, apparently Noli de Castro and Gretchen Fullido, on the set of "TV Patrol" on ABS-CBN.

"No words," wrote Atienza on Facebook on Sept. 29.

De Castro is the news anchor for "TV Patrol" while Fullido is the segment host for "Star Patrol."

Atienza has been the resident weather reporter for "TV Patrol."

GMA has already teased about a certain "Kuya" transferring to the Kapuso Network.

No official statement has been released for his transfer, but on Sept. 29, GMA Network shared a blurred photo of a hat-wearing man making a finger heart.

"Paparating na si Kuya mga Kapuso, abangan!” wrote the caption.

Atienza, 54, has not commented on the transfer rumor, although he said in a video that "transition is real."

Friends and netizens wished Atienza good luck in his latest journey.

"Love you ninong! Thank you! Back to you kuys!" wrote Eric Eruption Tai.

"Very touching sight Brother Kim," said former Senator JV Ejercito.

"I will always be your fan Kuya Kim Atienza since I was in elementary, now I'm a biology teacher. I love climbing the mountains and finding animals especially snakes. My dream is when you retire as Kuya Kim I want to audition as the next in line. I pray and hope for your career. Keep inspiring."
