Netizens hit hard on Wanna One

The Korean boy group WannaOne has been receiving a backlash from netizens and fans due to their controversial live broadcast aired before the release of their comeback album ‘0+1=1 (I Promise U)’. Why do we not have any freedom?” were heard during the accidental airing of the broadcast. After a few minutes, a female staff member told them, “Okay, guys. Let's get to our position for the live broadcast.” She was then interrupted as the members continued saying unseemly remarks such as “I'm gonna reveal my cell phone number.”, “I pooped this morning.”, and “I better curse now in advance. F*ck, f*ck, f*ck, f*ck.” Last heard was a member saying, “Dae-ddal-gak, only the pretty ones” which means “Jerk off only the pretty ones.” The group then was placed on a hot seat as netizens and fans criticized them for their inappropriate comments. In response, Wanna One released a statement, apologizing for showing a bad side of them and disappointing the fans. The group then promised to reflect on their actions and to work harder to become a mature and modest Wanna One. The group assured the fans that they will never forget the overwhelming love they received from the fans. Companies CJ E&M and YMC Entertainment recently had a discussion with the group regarding their latest controversy. According to reports, the members shed tears during the meeting. Wanna One are now reportedly promoting their title track ‘Boomerang’ on their comeback album.
