The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has ordered all the ports in the country to block the entry of vaping products on Friday after President Duterte verbally ordered a ban on the importation of vape products.

Customs Assistant Commissioner Jet Maronilla said in a report from CNN Philippines, that “all importation of vape products and its related items shall immediately be subject to seizure by the Bureau of Customs."
BOC has coordinated with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) before the issuing the order to their Intelligence and Enforcement units.
Maronilla added: “Customs' examiners and anti-smuggling units are focused on discovering the schemes that may be used to illegally smuggle vape products in the country.”
President Duterte recently banned the use and importation of vaping products or electronic cigarettes in the country which he claimed to be dangerous to the health of the public.
