TNC's Bok out to prove iceiceice wrong after '?' ranking among SEA players

TNC Predator's new offlaner Jun "Bok" Kanehara wants to prove that he's better than the unknown ranking Daryl "iceiceice" Koh Pei Xiang gave him.
Earlier this month, iceiceice made a tier list of well-known Southeast Asian players according to the roles they have played most of the time in tournaments
The 30-year-old Singaporean offlaner, who is now playing for North American team Evil Geniuses along with Filipino midlaner Abed "Abed" Yusop, only listed down those who have competed in The International and/or a Major tournament, and have played for a SEA or Chinese team.
Listing down the position-3 players, iceiceice ranked Bok as "?", explaining that he is not familiar with the SEA Games gold medalist's playstyle.
Iceiceice, meanwhile, ranked TNC's former offlaner Damien "kpiii" Chok as "S"--the highest tier in the role--along with T1's Filipino veteran Carlo "Kuku" Palad and Invictus Gaming's Malaysian standout Thiay "JT-" Jun Wen among 12 players.

But the ex-Smart Omega offlaner is eager to make himself known to iceicece and the rest of the Dota 2 community.
"I take it as a challenge to prove it wrong," said the 27-year-old Cebuano pro in TNC's One-on-One segment posted on Wednesday night, March 24.
Bok will have his proving ground in the 2020/2021 Asia Pacific Predator League Grand Final, the first tournament of TNC since going for an all-Filipino lineup.
Bok and TNC will take on Neon Esports, BOOM Esports, 496 Gaming. Galaxy Racer, Team GXR, Reckoning Esports, Team Star, Team Mystery and PSTR in the tournament on April 6-11.
Asked what he can do for TNC, Bok simply replied: "(I can give them) space. Madaming space (A lot of space)."
