Kathryn Bernardo Kathryn Bernardo intends to follow her gut when it comes to marriage. Playing a young miss on the verge of walking down the aisle in “Three Words To Forever,” the actress was asked about the right time to tie the knot. “I think you and your partner would know when it’s time. You’ll have a feeling about it. It’s a totally different level from the boyfriend-girlfriend stage,” she began in Filipino. “For me, if you see your life doing things together with that guy, it’s one of the signs. When you don’t see yourself in the future where he’s not there, that’s it. And if you don’t lose respect for each other, it’s another important factor.” Then co-actor Joross Gamboa asked her directly if she’s ready to marry. Kathryn’s boyfriend is actor, Daniel Padilla. “Not so soon,” she said. “It’s too early now.” Later, she added: “You don’t just jump into it. It would be unfair for you and your partner if you’re not ready to give it (marriage) your all.” Adjustment Working with Richard Gomez and Sharon Cuneta for the first time, Kathryn has had to make adjustments. “It was not easy because it’s been six or seven years that I was always working with Daniel,” she said. Though nervous in the beginning, Kathryn couldn’t pass up the chance doing a movie with the two iconic actors. “Then I read the story and I knew I had to do it,” she said. “As their daughter in the movie, I want to represent the youth.” After 30 years of marriage, middle-aged couple Sandy (Sharon) and Rob (Richard) have decided to announce their separation after Sandy’s parents’ 55th wedding anniversary. But things don’t go as planned when they learn that her parents are going through marriage/relationship problems of their own and the only thing their family are looking to for support and inspiration are Sandy and Rob’s seemingly solid marriage. THE CAST of ‘Three Words To Forever’ Sandy and Rob then decide to work together to help fix their family’s problems in order for them to go their separate ways with as little pain for their family as possible. Kathryn shared that the first few shooting days saw her groping in the dark. “It was an out-of-town shoot so I wasn’t able to go home and I didn’t get to see my family. But after a week, it was already okay. It helped that DJ (Daniel) was very supportive. He talked to Tommy Esguerra, my leading man.” In a video that show Daniel’s visit to her, Kathryn is seen giving him a tight hug. “It was because I didn’t see him for so long,” she explained. “I felt recharged finally seeing him. I felt I was ready to work again.” It also helped Cathy Garcia-Molina directed the movie. The two had done several movies together in the past. “She was like a mother to me. She’s a big help.
