The events, spearheaded by the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), were part of the city’s 63rd Cityhood Anniversary celebration.
It featured various partner companies offering positions in industries such as retail, sales, business process outsourcing (BPO), and construction in both local and overseas.
Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan commended PESO for its efforts to provide long-term employment opportunities.
He also emphasized that the job fairs specifically aimed to assist first-time job seekers in gaining valuable work experience.
“Sa bawat job fair na ating isinasagawa, special targets po natin ang mga Batang Kankaloo na first-time job seekers dahil batid po natin ang kahalagahan na magkaroon muna sila ng karanasan sa mga disente at maayos na trabaho upang kanilang maging tungtungan sa mas malalaking oportunidad sa hinaharap (In every job fair, we specifically target the young people of Kankaloo who are first-time job seekers because we are aware of the importance of them gaining experience from decent and proper jobs which will serve as their foundation for greater opportunities in the future),” he said.
The city government continues to prioritize employment programs to help residents secure stable jobs and improve their livelihoods. (Jhoana Mae Delfin)
