Liza Soberano transformed herself into Blackpink’s Jennie Kim as seen in the vlog “Liza Tries.”

“Tried Jennie's ‘How You Like That’ teaser look on myself! I had a lot of fun, definitely not a professional but I hope enjoy and tell me ho-how you like that???!!!” Soberano captioned her YouTube video.
In the 11-minute video, Soberano shared Blackpink has her listening to K-pop again.
“I got back into Kpop because of Blackpink but I was a K-pop fan in my earlier years like when I was grade six ’til first-year high school,” she said.
The actress named 2NE1, Girls Generation, and Super Junior as among first K-pop groups she liked.
Soberano said she “lost interest” in K-pop because she got busy with school and acting, but found herself obsessing again with K-pop in late 2018.
“My cousin Ashanti influenced me into watching Blackpink and after watching my first vide of Blackpink, I felt deep down into like a black hole of K-pop,” Soberano shared.
Aside from Blackpink, Soberano also likes BTS, Twice, ITZY, and Mamamoo.
“I’ve always idolized someone at some point in my life, and I think that’s good,” she said.
Soberano’s “Liza Tries” video has been viewed over 640,000 times since it was uploaded on Saturday. It is the second video on her newly-launched vlog called “Life With Liza.”
