Vice President Leni Robredo continues to visit areas badly hit by super typhoon “Rolly” in the Bicol region and went to five different towns in her home province of Camarines Sur Wednesday.

Robredo first visited Barangay Salingogon in Minalabac, a coastal community that was severely damaged during Rolly’s onslaught.
Roads and ricefields were submerged while most houses were damaged. Robredo, along with local officials and donors, gave relief goods to affected residents.
The Vice President afterwards headed to Bula. “Much of the town is still underwater. We were able to visit Barangay San Jose but we first needed to transfer to another vehicle that could wade through the floods,” she said.
Robredo made a brief stop at the Iriga City Hall before she proceeded to Sabang, San Jose, her final destination for the relief operations.
The lady official hails from Naga City, Camarines Sur, one of the provinces badly-hit by Rolly in Bicol. The others were Albay and Catanduanes, which she also both visited the other day.
This is the first time Robredo came home since the onset of the coronavirus disease outbreak in March.
Robredo said that learning hub of her office in the coastal barangay of San Jose in Sabang was damaged.
“Our hub had minor damage, but our volunteers kept supplies safe and will resume assisting learners soon,” she said.
Last Monday, Robredo was at the Sabang National High School in Calabanga, Camarines Sur. She also visited Barangays Salvacion Baybay, San Roque, and La Purisima in Pili.
