PULILAN, Bulacan -- SM Prime Holdings Inc., through the SM Foundation turned over a school building to Balatong Elementary Elementary School in this town.
The school has 1,173 students from Barangays Penabatan, Tenejero, and Balatong.

Veronica B. Cunan, SM mall' public relations officer said that the two-story, four-classroom building comes with facilities designed to address the accessibility needs of persons with disabilities.
Cunan added that the school building comes with 200 armchairs, 20 of which are designed for left-handed students.
Members of The Foundation of These-Abled, a PWD association supported by SM, were the people behind the assembly of the armchairs, a manifestation of SM’s advocacy in supporting PWDs by a way of boosting their self-pride and self-esteem through the chairs they make.
The classrooms also have a teacher’s tables, 16 wall fans for adequate ventilation, eight blackboards, four wall clocks and four toilets.
SM representatives, together with local government officials lead by Pulilan Municipal Mayor Ma. Rosario Ochoa-Montejo attended the turnover ceremony.
They were joined by DepEd Schools Division of Bulacan representatives, barangay officials of Balatong, Penabatan and Tenejero and school officials.
