Comedian ‘Kuhol’ arrested for child abuse after allegedly ‘kissing’ his 10-year-old goddaughter A comedian and former barangay councilor in Quezon City was arrested today for child abuse after allegedly "kissing" his 10-year-old goddaughter. Quezon City Police District director PCSupt Guillermo Eleazar identified the arrested suspect as Philip Supnet, known as "Kuhol," 58, a resident of Barangay North Fairview, Quezon City. Initial investigation showed that Supnet's Grade 5 goddaughter was buying at his store in front of his house on Axtell Street in Barangay North Fairview when he invited her inside. Supnet allegedly kissed the minor on her lips and told her to keep quiet and come back again the next day. Scared of what her godfather did, the child immediately went home and told what happened to her father who reported the incident to the barangay. Barangay officers collared Supnet who turned him over to QCPD-Fairview Police Station. The suspect did not deny the allegations and apologized to the victim's family. A case of child abuse will be filed against him. Supnet was a known comedian in the Philippine television and appeared in various movies and TV series. (Alexandria San Juan) Alleged member of gun-for-hire group killed after shootout with cops; his 2 other companions nabbed An alleged member of a gun-for-hire group was killed after engaging in a shootout with policemen who chased him after he tried to elude arrest in a police operation, while his two other companions were nabbed in Quezon City Saturday at past midnight. Investigators of the Quezon City Police District said the fatality they identified as Aries Alantico, a resident of San Mateo, Rizal, died on the spot due to gunshot wounds on his body. Prior to the incident, operatives of QCPD-Novaliches Police Station (PS-4), were conducting 'Oplan Galugad' within the area of Geronimo Street in Barangay Sta. Monica, Novaliches at around 10 p.m. Friday when they spotted four men on a red Toyota Vios parked in a dim portion of the street. While officers were about to approach the suspected vehicle, one of the men onboard fired a shot toward them before speeding off the scene resulting in a shootout and car chase. The pursuit ended inside a compound in Barangay Kaligayahan, Novaliches wherein the four already wounded men scampered to escape. Authorities were able to arrest two suspects, while the other two managed to run away. Arrested suspects were identified by the police as Jerry Taturan, 41, a resident of Barangay North Fairview, and Gerome Gonzales, 18, of Barangay Sta. Monica. A caliber 45 pistol and a shotgun was confiscated from them. At about 12 a.m., Saturday, same operatives conducted a follow-up operation after receiving reports of two wounded armed men in the area. Lawmen spotted the duo along Quirino Avenue in Barangay Kaligayahan, but the latter, instead of surrendering, fired shots toward the arresting officers which again resulted in a shootout, wherein one of them was killed while the other was able to escape. A 9mm pistol was confiscated from the slain suspect while pieces of empty shells were recovered in the crime scene. Police also recovered the car used by the suspects with conduction sticker VE 5394. Arrested suspects are now under custody of PS-4. A manhunt is on against the fourth suspect who was still unidentified while further investigation is underway. (Alexandria San Juan) Hairstylist, promodizer nabbed during drug sting in Caloocan A hairstylist and promodizer were nabbed during a drug sting in Caloocan City last night. Arrested were identified as 55-year-old Amadon Dominguez alias "Roel," hairstylist, and Ricardo Agustin alias "Erika," 41, promodizer, both residents of Kaunlaran Village, Caloocan City. Both of them were newly identified drug personalities as they were not included in the drug watchlist, according to case investigator PO1 Renz Cabico. Initial investigation showed that operatives from the city's drug enforcement unit led by Senior Insp. Allan Hernandez conducted a buy-bust operation against the two men after they received reports about their alleged involvement in illegal drug trade. Dominguez and Agustin were apprehended after they handed over a sachet of shabu worth P600 to a police poseur-buyer along Block 12 Lot 30 around 8:30 p.m. However, Agustin and Dominguez denied their involvement in illegal drugs, Cabico said. Appropriate charges will be filed against the two men who are now detained at the Caloocan police detention cell. (Kate Javier) ​Father stabs to death his two sons in Taguig after failing to convince his OFW wife to go home ​A father who is an alleged drug user, stabbed to death his own two sons in New Lower Bicutan, Taguig City Saturday morning. The suspect was identified by police as Ariston Nacion, 42, who was reportedly a user of illegal drugs. Nacion was shot dead by responding police officers whom he tried to stab when they arrived to the scene. The two boys, Jivo Nacion, 13, and Lance Nacion, 6, died on the spot after both suffered multiple stab wounds in the different parts of the body. In the report submitted to Southern Police District chief Tomas Apolinario, prior to the incident, the suspect spoke through phone with her wife who was working abroad. The suspect who was enraged after their conversation apparently took his anger on the two kids who were haplessly stabbed. Police received a report that there was a disturbance at their house on Pangilinan Street in New Lower Bicutan, Taguig City, where the two kids were reportedly heard crying. As authorities arrived at the area, they spotted the frenzied suspect who attempted to stab the responding law enforcers. Police shot Ariston who died from two gunshot wounds to his chest. Inside the house, police stumbled upon the bodies of the two kids. They are eyeing jealousy as one of the motives of the killing. According to Taguig Assistant Chief of Police for Operations Clarence Gomeyac, the suspect's wife told police that Ariston was telling her to come back home from working in Hong Kong. Ariston also told her that if she would not go home, he would kill their two sons. The bodies of the three men are now at the Rizal Funeral Homes, while the case remains under further investigation. Arrested by police were Jerry Acuña Lozada, 32, Gilbert Samonte Magno, 36, and Joel Pascua Liones, 40. Investigation showed that the suspects broke the padlock of the main entrance to the house located at Marian Lakeview Subdivision, Barangay San Martin De Porres, Parañaque City before proceeding to empty it, taking all the owner's property. According to police, the stolen items were loaded to a passenger jeepney with plate no. NYY-827. As they were about to leave the place, the security guard on duty flagged them down. The guard asked for a permit and authority from the owner to transport the items but the suspects could not produce any. Authorities recovered from the suspects one washing machine, one gas range, one rice cooker, one oven toaster, one fire extinguisher, two gallons of disinfectant, five yards of pranela, a dozen towels, assorted kitchen utensils, a table top extender, a coffee maker and a microwave oven.
