General Santos City- A policeman assigned in this city had been ordered relieved for reportedly bashing Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Oscar Albayalde on social media.
Sr. Supt. Raul Supiter, city police director, said PO1 Abder Hassan Baro Bahara, assigned with the Police Station 6 here, was ordered relieved by the PNP national headquarters after he reportedly posted comments against Albayalde on social media.
Bahara commented on Facebook that instead of giving warning to policemen on duty to refrain from using cellular phones, Albayalde should provide policemen with handheld radio while on duty.
Bahara was summoned to report at the PNP national headquarters in Camp Crame last May 11 wherein he was ordered to explain his bashing on the Chief PNP.
The PNP-Internal Affairs Service is set to file administrative charges for conduct unbecoming of an officer against Bahara who was reassigned to Police Regional Office in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM).
