Upcoming Pokemon game is MOBA for mobile and the Switch

With over 800 Pokemon out there right now, it's no surprise that the Pokemon Company would be trying some new things with their massive franchise. In this case, Pokemon Unite is a MOBA-style game. It's like Dota 2 and League of Legends, except replace champions with Pokemon in a very familiar 5v5 arena. There's still no release date and all that was mentioned was that the game is under development by Tencent TiMi Studios, which also developed Arena of Valor for mobile and the Nintendo Switch. Unite (1) From my perspective, it does look a little bit of a re-skinned version of Arena of Valor. But we'll see in the future when we get more development updates. unite2 (1) Pokemon Unite will head out to mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch. And according to the trailer video, it is "free-to-start." Which can mean a few things, like it's free to download and you get to play a small number of Pokemons, and would need to purchase more via packs. Right now, confirmed roster are some of fan favorites such as Pikachu, Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur, Machamp, Gengar, Lucario, Clefable, Talonflame, and Snorlax.
