Ubisoft's 'For Honor' enters free weekend

If you've been interested in Ubisoft's For Honor, now's your chance to check it out. From July 26, the game will be free across all platforms. It will include story mode, all multiplayer modes, 26 heroes to choose from, and 30 maps.

For Honor will remain free until the 28th on Uplay and Steam. PS4 and Xbox One versions will remain free until the 27th. According to Ubisoft, for anyone who wants to continue playing, the game will off 80% in different dates per platform: Steam until the 27th, Xbox One until August 3, and PS4 until August 20 (which probably means no one's really playing the game on the PS4).

Additionally, For Honor just kicked off A Tyrant’s Test, an evolution of the fan favorite Test Your Metal PvAi game mode that will unleash some of For Honor’s darkest heroes.

This event will lead into the release of a large Title Update on August 6, which will add the new Warmonger Hero. Players will be able to unlock the new Hero either by purchasing it on first party store as part of a package including new Hero, 1 exclusive Ornament, 1 Elite Outfit, seven days of Champion Status or only the Hero with 15,000 steel on August 20.
