The Maginhawa community pantry in Quezon City on Saturday ran out of supplies as it moved to a new location to accommodate more people in need amid the lingering coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

Ana Patricia Non, the proponent of the pantry, said they are open for in-kind and monetary assistance, although they prefer the former for faster distribution.
"Kung magpapabook po kayo, pakisuyuan lang po natin ang ating riders na lapitan ang volunteers sa gate para maassist. Hindi na po kailangan tumawag, madami naman po ang tutulong magbuhat (For those having their donations delivered, tell your riders to approach our volunteers for assistance. They don’t need to call us anymore as there are many who will assist)," Non advised.
For those who want to help, they may send their goods to the pantry's new location at 108 Maginhawa St., Teacher's Village East Barangay Hall in Quezon City.
They may also send monetary help to Non's GCash account 09451454390 or BDO account 001430247639.
The Maginhawa community pantry moved to its new location, 300 meters away from its original location, on Saturday for bigger space to ensure those in line can observe physical distancing.
From one, Non's project already has nine pantries that allowed them to accommodate more people at one time.
In a Facebook post Saturday afternoon, Non said the pantry's distribution of goods would be from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday to Saturday, at its Maginhawa Entrance. The pantry meanwhile will accept donations from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday to Saturday, at its Masinsinan entrance.
