More and more coronavirus disease (COVID-19)-affected countries are starting to go into lockdown to prevent the spread of the disease, so music fans around the world are banding together to offer us playlists to get us through this tense situation.
There's a playlist on Spotify, created by Alistair Ryan, titled "COVID-19 Quarantine".

The playlist includes songs like "Toxic" by Britney Spears, "No Air" by Jordin Sparks, and "Locked Up" by Akon.
Carlotta Freni, meanwhile, who works in the music industry and has lived in Milan, Italy for 13 years, created her quarantine playlist "Songs for Pandemics" after the Lombardy region's lockdown.
"To me, music is the primary way to communicate feelings and to seal a particular moment or history inside our memories," Freni told Business Insider.
She added that she decided to create the playlist for her friends in order to share them some good sound and vibes, and "let the day flow."
The "Coronavirus Hand Washing Playlist," on the other hand, serves a functional purpose. All 51 songs on the playlist have a chorus of at least 20 seconds for people to sing or hum while washing their hands to ensure they meet the hand washing guidelines set by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Actress Rita Wilson, wife of Tom Hanks -- both diagnosed with the coronavirus -- also made a Spotify playlist for people self-quarantining.
Wilson's "Quarantunes" features 32 songs and runs for more than two hours.
