We love a good success story. Even more, we love a success story that brings a happy-ever-after to Filipino families. Here’s how a Filipino developer is ticking off every box on the list.
1. Suntrust is the sum of many decades of expertise in the real estate business: Megaworld, Suntrust, and Stateland. And despite being born at the height of the Asian financial crisis, it survived and even thrived.
2. Homes for Manileños: it pioneered quality but affordable homes in the heart of Manila. In 2003, it opened its first vertical project, the 6,683-square meter UN Gardens, as a residential project that brought quality urban housing to Manila residents.
In 2008, it opened the three-tower Suntrust Adriatico Gardens, which combined leisure amenities with the convenience of a central location in Manila.
In 2009, the six-tower Suntrust Parkview at the back of Manila City Hall opened its doors to university students, office workers, and growing families.
This year, the two-tower Suntrust Solana will rise beside the iconic Ayala Bridge.
3. It has the best of modern and laid-back living in Cavite. This is courtesy of two major Suntrust properties there: Washington Place and Sunrise Hills in Dasmariñas, and The Gentri Heights, Cybergreens, Cyberville, and Governor’s Hills in General Trias.

4. Suntrust brought modern residential developments outside the national capital region. In 2014, it opened One Lakeshore Drive in the Megaworld-Suntrust Davao Park District township, and 88 Gibraltar in Baguio City’s prime tourist spot area – Mines View Park.
The developments offer the best of what the locale has to offer and at the same time the convenience of living near places of work, school, and commerce.

5. Its first horizontal project outside Calabarzon, the 24.52-hectare Fountain Grove, was launched in 2015 within a Megaworld-Suntrust township development – the Northill Gateway – which will bring massive development to the cities of Talisay and Bacolod.

6. Buyers won’t be left out in the cold after they sign that deed. Suntrust has a wholly-owned subsidiary called Sunrays Property Management, Inc. set up especially to manage its completed projects.
7. Suntrust thinks big. It develops industrial parks through Suntrust Ecotown Developers, Inc. Its first industrial park is the environment-friendly Suntrust Ecotown Tanza in Cavite. Also, it manages a world-class golf course called Sherwood Hills Golf Club in Trece Martires, Cavite.

8. Adding to its considerable property developments in Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Davao, Tagum, Bacolod, and Baguio, it is now expanding its footprint to include Batangas, Pampanga, and Cadiz.

9. Suntrust turned dreams into reality by giving each of the three BIG Pinoy Big Brother Otso winners – Yamyam Gucong, Kiara Takahashi, and Yen Quirante – their own condominium units.

10. More recently, Suntrust won its first major international recognition for 2020 after being named the “Most Innovative Residential Developer in the Philippines” at the recently concluded 2019 International Finance Awards in Waldorf Astoria in Bangkok, Thailand.
