Fire hits DavOr Medical Center

Ocampo Davao City â€“ Patients of the Davao Oriental Provincial Medical Center (DOPMC) were evacuated from the hospital premises after a fire hit the second floor of the medical facility located on Matiao Highway in Dahican, Mati, Davao Oriental, Friday evening. In a statement, the provincial government said fire engulfed a vacant portion of the second floor of DOPMC at around 6:10 p.m. The fire was declared under control at around 7 p.m. First responders rushed to the scene to coordinate response efforts, with patients needing to be evacuated to ensure their safety.
