Hyundai reveals pricing of all-new Accent

020119accent1 Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) announces the prices of the much-awaited, all-new Accent, the sole subcompact sedan with turbo diesel power. With the new model, HARI offers car buyers a vehicle that has both sensibility and style without compromise. From the outside, the Accent immediately clues you in on the uncompromising work that Hyundai has done to build this stunning sedan. Boasting of Hyundai’s Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design, the Accent is a head-turner with well-defined lines and seamlessly sculpted contours that make for a sensuously sporty style. Underneath that sheet metal is 50-percent Advanced High-Strength Steel proprietary to Hyundai’s automotive technology. This contributes to a more protective shell, yet lightweight enough that it improves the vehicle’s drivability and aerodynamics while on the move. Inside the Accent’s cabin is a more comfortable and roomier space, complete with ergonomic seats and a relaxing driver seat with motor driven power steering, controls, and vehicle information conveniently positioned for easier operation. The Accent also comes equipped with dual front airbags for a more reassuring ride. In terms of performance, the fifth generation Accent continues Hyundai’s legacy as a class-leading sedan with its 1.6-liter CRDi diesel engine.  Mated to either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission, the Accent delivers capable power of 128-Ps at 4,000 rpm, and torque at 260 Nm at 1,500-3,000 rpm. The 2019 model is available in six trim levels and with gasoline or diesel engines. The Hyundai Accent starts at P750,000 for the entry-level 1.4 GL (gas) M/T with no airbags. The 1.4 GL (gas) A/T with no airbags retails for P798,000. The airbag-equipped gas models start at P798,000 for the manual and P850,000 for the automatic. The six-speed manual Accent CRDi GL is priced at P870,000, while the automatic diesel Accent starts at P998,000.
