Customs in NAIA implements online system of goods declaration

By Hanah Tabios The Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) is now implementing an online system of goods declaration through its Customer Care Portal System (CCPS). In a statement released Sunday, June 28, the BOC said this is in compliance with BOC Memorandum Circular No. 61 to "facilitate trade in goods and still optimize revenue generation, despite the prevailing health crisis." “All stakeholders are encouraged to use this online system in filing entries in BOC-NAIA and process customs documents without the need to do this manually in customs premises,” it added. Stakeholders are directed to visit the CCPS website https://client.customs.gov.ph/index.php and create their account. Those who have already registered may proceed to opening a new ticket and select the “Filing of Goods Declaration.” The agency said it will continue to adopt new measures under the new normal to ensure public service 24/7.
