The passengers were supposed to travel back home on Tuesday, but they missed their flight after they failed to comply with the other requirements for the trip.
Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson said they were provided with the necessary assistance while they waited for their flight the following day.
On Wednesday afternoon, they were allowed to board the plane, following the completion of their requirements, the governor said.
When they arrived at the Bacolod-Silay Airport in Silay City, the passengers rode a Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) bus and were brought to the healing center in E.B. Magalona town, where they will undergo a 14-day quarantine.
Authorities said they are not selective of those who would want to avail of the humanitarian trips. They have an online database where they get to check who are listed for the scheduled trips.
For inquiries, stranded passengers may call this hotline number - (+639) 9421 897 127.
Lacson thanked those who helped facilitate the transport of the stranded passengers.
