10 PRO-13 cops awarded for exemplary performance

CAMP RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – The Police Regional Office-13 has awarded 10 police officers and one Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP) for their exemplary performance.

PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft led the awarding with guest of honor and speaker Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)-Caraga Regional Executive Director Nonito M. Tamayo on Monday, December 11, at the regional police headquarters in Camp Rafael C. Rodriguez here.

The Medalya ng Kagalingan was awarded to Police Major Ralph Jezen A. Perez, Police Chief Master Sgt. Domindes Niño Melloria, Police Master Sgt. Peter S. Obien, Police Staff Sgt. Jezreel M. Paje, and Police Staff Sgt. Junrey G. Perater for the arrest of a person wanted for frustrated murder in Barangay Bunawan Brook, Bunawan, Agusan del Sur on November 16.

Police Lt. Clifford John C. Tomasin, Police Chief Master Sgt. Mohair H. Salas, Police Staff Sgt. Arley R. Cocjin, Police Corporal Manuelito H. Gallorin Jr., and Police Patrolman Red Anthony U. Vogonte were given the Medalya ng Kagalingan for the arrest of another individual for murder on November 25 in Barangay Zillovia, Talacogon, Agusan del Sur.

The Medalya ng Papuri was bestowed on NUP Regina Mae M. Matala for serving eight years and nine months as crime registrar of the Marihatag Police Station of the Surigao del Sur Police Provincial Office.

"These awards were bestowed upon them in recognition of their exemplary efforts and outstanding performance,” Kraft said. “By highlighting their devotion and accomplishments, we inspire other PNP personnel to surpass such standards of professionalism and excellence."
