Samantha Bernardo in trad'l Thai costume for Miss Grand Int'l challenge

Samantha Bernardo received positive feedback taking on the "Dress Up in Thai Traditional Costume" challenge for the Miss Grand International pageant.

Netizens were quick to applaud the statuesque beauty for gracefully pulling it off.

"Miss Philippines is the only contestant to wear a Golden Thai Dress. Is this is a sign? She looks so beautiful and gold is definitely her color, tons of love from Thailand," an online user wrote. 

"She is so gorgeous, so stunning, so elegant, so charming, so beautiful, soooo perfect for Ms Grand intl winner. Hope she'll get the crown! We r so inlove with Ms PHILIPPINES (heart emojis)," another added. 

According to some, the Filipina model is so "charming kind and queenly."

"Sam has something on her voice that makes people listen to her," a netizen pointed out. 

"She is not boring to watch, and she keeps talking about something that makes the audience entertained unlike other contestants, just saying."

If Samantha brings home the crown, she'll make history as the first Pinay to do so.

The Miss Grand International finals night will be held on March 27.

Samantha was personally handpicked by the Binibining Pilipinas organization to represent the Philippines in the competition.

She is the first Filipino to compete in a live international pageant amid the pandemic.
