Power interruption set in parts of Rizal on Sept. 14-15

Parts of San Mateo and Binangonan in Rizal province will experience power interruption for up to four hours on Wednesday, Sept. 14, and Baras, Antipolo City, Teresa, and Morong on Thursday, Sept. 15.

In its advisory, the Manila Electric Company (Meralco), said the service interruption will happen from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Sampaguita and N. Libis Street from J.P. Rizal Street to and including Joy Variety Store in Doña Pepeng Subdivision in Barangay Banaba.

Meralco said the scheduled temporary power service interruption in the affected areas is due to replacement of rotten poles and line reconductoring works in Doña Pepeng Subdivision in San Mateo.

In Binangonan, portions of Paseo De Blanco Subdivision in Barangay Pag-asa will have no electricity from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. also on Sept. 14, Wednesday, due to Manila Water’s maintenance works.

On September 15, some parts of Antipolo City, including portion of Marcos Highway (Marikina-Laguna - Quezon Highway) from near Upper Marikina River Basin Protected Landscape (UMRBPL) in Sitio Cabading, Barangay San Jose, to and including Masungi Georeserve; Palo Alto Leisure Residential Estates Subdivision and Heroes’ Ville Subdivision; Sitios Paenan and San Roque in Barangay Pinugay, Baras; Sitios Cabading, Calumpang, Kapatagan, Kaysakat, Pantay, Rizza and Tanza; and Tanza Villa Leyva I Subdivision in Barangays Calawis, San Isidro and San Jose in Antipolo City will have no electricity from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15.

The power interruption in these areas is due to the reconductoring works of Meralco along Marcos Highway (Marikina, Laguna, Quezon Highway) in Barangay San Jose, Antipolo City.

Also on Sept. 15, power interruption at around 9:45 a.m. and then between 3:01 p.m. and 3:15 p.m., will be experienced in areas in Baras along Pinugay Road (Antipolo –Tanay Road) from Marcos Highway (Marikina – Laguna - Quezon Highway) to Roman Rojas Road including Pinugay Habitat Subdivision, Sirbahna Subdivision and Summerfield Subdivision; Sitios Abuyod, Kapatagan, Rizza, Sumilang and Tibagan in Barangay San Jose, Antipolo City; Southville 9 Subdivision in Barangay Pinugay, in Baras, Rizal.

In Teresa and Morong, Rizal, there will be a scheduled power interruption on Sept.15, 9:45 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 3:01 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. in the portions of Roman Rojas Road from Regina Village in Barangay May -Iba, Teresa to and including Tiesto Apparel Mfg., Foremost Farms, First Philippine Rubber, Universal Robina Farms, Rofiebenah Foods, Quezon Poultry & Livestock and Iglesia Ni Cristo; and One Ynares Village in Barangays Pinugay, San Jose and San Salvador in Baras; Sitios Pantay Buhangin and Abuyod in Barangays May – Iba, Dalig and Bagumbayan in Teresa; and Sitio Yapak in Bgy. Lagundi, in Morong, Rizal.
