PRC sets online oathtaking of new Professional Teachers on April 23

The new passers of the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers will have their online oathtaking this month.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) set the conduct of their online oathtaking on April 23, 2021, Friday, 10 a.m.

The online oathtaking will be spearheaded by PRC Cebu through Zoom.

Inductees, the PRC said, shall wear a formal or business attire and use a white backdrop (white physical or virtual background) throughout the oathtaking ceremony.

"Please secure an online appointment schedule at http://online.prc.gov.ph and select 'e-OATH' as a transaction," said the Commission in a Facebook post.

It added that the online registration will close five calendar days before the virtual oathtaking day.

PRC said inductees are required to print "Oath of Professional" form that is downloadable at the PRC Online Services.

The Commission said the step-by-step procedure of online oathtaking application system may be viewed at https://www.prc.gov.ph/article/online-oathtaking-application-system/4532.

The specific registration and ceremony protocols are also at the PRC website.
