Fire hits residential area in Malabon City

A fire broke out in a residential area at C. Arellano Street, Barangay Ibaba, Malabon City on Sunday morning, March 24.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection, the 1st fire alarm was raised at 4:53 a.m. and escalated to 2nd alarm at 5:04 a.m.

The blaze was declared under control at 5:45 a.m. and extinguished at 6:13 a.m. 

A total of five fire trucks responded to the incident. 

As of this writing, firefighters have yet to determine the estimated cost of damage to property and the cause of the blaze.
