'Friends' star Matthew Perry bares unexplained bitterness towards 'John Wick' actor Keanu Reeves

It seems that "Friends" star Matthew Perry has an unexplained bitterness toward "John Wick" star Keanu Reeves, as revealed in his upcoming memoir.

In a passage obtained by pagesix.com, as reported by dailymail.com, Perry appeared to have complained that Reeves, 58, had outlived some of the Hollywood stars.

"Why is it that the original thinkers like River Phoenix and Heath Ledger die, but Keanu Reeves still walks among us?" wrote Perry.

Perry's memoir "Friends, Lovers, And The Big Terrible Thing" will be released on Nov. 1.

Phoenix was one of Reeves' closest friends, who died of a drug overdose outside a nightclub in Hollywood on Oct. 31, 1993. He was just 23 years old.

Ledger, 28, passed on due to an accidental drug overdose at an apartment in New York on Jan. 22, 2008.

'River was a beautiful man inside and out and too beautiful for this world, it turned out. It always seems to be the really talented guys who go down,' wrote Perry, according to the same report.

Perry, 53, also said that he broke down in sobs after learning his friend had died.
