Customer service is top job vacancy in the Philippines, DOLE says

Customer service jobs lead in the number of nationwide vacancies, with over 16,000 positions available for interested applicants, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) said on Tuesday, July 30.

Citing its latest data, the Bureau of Local Employment (BLE) reported a total of 16,059 job openings for customer service assistants from June 28 to July 4.

It is followed by call center agents with 7,012 vacancies and production machine operators with 6,829 positions available.

The BLE further noted that production workers are also in demand, with 3,821 job vacancies.

In addition, recruitment officers have 2,759 available positions, reflecting a diverse range of employment opportunities across various sectors.

According to the bureau, the data is from the Public Employment Service Office's (PESO) Employment Information System (PEIS).

The information is also sourced from PhilJobNet, a government-run job-matching portal.
