PAL resumes Clark-Siargao flights

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) is again expanding its Clark hub with the reopening of flights to and from Siargao starting Dec. 3, 2024.

PAL said its thrice weekly Clark-Siargao-Clark direct service will provide ease and convenience for residents of Central and Northern Luzon, as there is no need to go as far as to Manila by land to connect to Siargao.

“We are excited to be able to fly and welcome leisure travelers back to Siargao via Clark once again,” said PAL Express President Rabbi Vincent Ang.

He noted that “as Siargao’s popularity soars, we stay committed to supporting the island’s tourism growth in a sustainable way for the benefit of its residents and local businesses, while providing an enhanced flying experience for our passengers.” 

"We are pleased to welcome the forthcoming launch of Philippine Airlines' new service from Clark to Siargao, which will enhance connectivity and bring the enchanting destination of Siargao within closer reach for travelers from Clark,” said Noel Manankil, President and CEO of LIPAD Corporation, the consortium that manages and operates Clark International Airport.

He added that “Siargao enthusiasts can anticipate beginning their island getaway immediately upon arrival at Clark International Airport, where we practice stringent performance measures and monitoring to ensure fast airport processes and a seamless experience for all passengers."  

PAL will operate the thrice weekly flights between Clark and Siargao utilizing 86-seater De Havilland Dash 8-400 Next Generation aircraft.
Siargao joins PAL’s growing hub at Clark International Airport, where PAL now offers daily flights to Cebu, four weekly flights each to Basco and Busuanga (Coron), and thrice weekly flights to Caticlan (Boracay).

The new Clark-Siargao service complements PAL’s existing twice daily flights to Siargao from Manila and Cebu, for a total PAL service of 31 weekly flights to Siargao.

Dubbed the ‘Surfing Capital of the Philippines’, Siargao Island was named the Conde Nast Traveler readers’ choice for best island in Asia.  

Home to a thriving community of 120,000 people, Siargao is one of the most sought-after holiday destinations known for crystal clear beaches, white sand islets, hidden lagoons and tide pools, along with a host of recreational activities and fun-filled tour packages.
