'Drag Race Philippines' greenlit for new season

"Drag Race Philippines" continues!

Just recently, World of Wonder Productions announced that "Drag Race Philippines" and "Drag Race Philippines: Untucked" have both been officially renewed for second seasons.

Recall that after an exciting two months of Pinoy-flavored mini and maxi challenges, fierce runway looks, and regular doses of drama, Precious Paula Nicole bested 11 other Filipino drag queens to become the Philippines’ first-ever Drag Race Superstar a few days ago.

The hit global drag phenomenon “Drag Race Philippines” historic first season premiered on Aug. 17 on discovery+, HBO GO, and WOW Presents Plus featuring 12 of the fiercest, most fabulous Filipino drag artists from all over the world competing for the crown.

"Drag Race Philippines" which is the 10th international edition of RuPaul’s hit franchise and just the second in Asia, has featured versatile judges including Pops Fernandez, Pokwang, Nadine Lustre, Regine Velasquez, Boy Abunda, Patrick Starr, Pia Wurtzbach, BJ Pascual, Jon Santos, Rajo Laurel, Jiggly Caliente, and KaladKaren.

The show was hosted by Paolo Ballesteros.
