Ate Tere Puno tops list of municipal councilors in Cavite

Naic, Cavite Councilor Ate Tere Puno was recognized as the top performing municipal councilor in the province in One Cavite's independent and non-commissioned survey, further solidifying her dedication to public service and implementation of community-driven initiatives.

The independent survey, which was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 10,000 randomly selected registered voters across the province as respondents, was held from July 3 to July 31, 2023 with a sampling error of +1/-1 percent.

Puno received 93.9 percent in the said survey. She was then followed by Councilor Derek Matro (92.5 percent) and Councilor Armie Aguinaldo (92 percent).

"Having successfully steered Naic's local government towards a more inclusive and participatory approach, Councilor Puno's vision for a better future has resonated deeply with the community. Her strategic planning and efficient execution of projects have resulted in tangible improvements in various sectors, including education, healthcare, infrastructure, and livelihood programs," One Cavite said.

Puno also spearheaded the establishment of a comprehensive scholarship program for underprivileged youth in Naic. This initiative not only empowers the younger generation but also highlights her commitment to education as an essential tool for social transformation.

"Furthermore, Councilor Puno's advocacy for sustainable development and environmental conservation has earned her the respect of both local residents and fellow colleagues. Her efforts to raise awareness about environmental issues and implement eco-friendly projects have contributed to Naic's reputation as a responsible and eco-conscious municipality," the group added.

The official had also actively collaborated with neighboring municipalities and regional authorities to promote interconnectivity and share best practices in governance where her willingness to cooperate and exchange ideas showcases her dedication to collective progress beyond Naic's borders.

"Councilor Ate Tere Puno's recognition as the number 1 Municipal Councilor in Cavite underscores the transformative power of dedicated and compassionate leadership. Her tireless work in fostering a community-centered approach to governance has not only improved the lives of her constituents but has also set a remarkable example for aspiring public servants," One Cavite stressed.

"As Councilor Puno continues to pave the way for a brighter future in Naic Cavite, her accomplishments serve as a reminder that positive change is attainable through steadfast dedication and innovative thinking. Her outstanding achievement stands as an inspiration to all, encouraging individuals to actively engage in their communities and contribute to the betterment of society at large," it added.
