Ariana Grande reveals role in Blackpink-Selena Gomez collab song

Pop diva Ariana Grande recently revealed she took part in creating Blackpink’s newest single with Selena Gomez.

In an Instagram story, Grande expressed excitement over “Ice Cream” which she wrote with singer and close friend Victoria Monet.

“Proud of the squad and so excited for this!! so much love for this team and these ladies,” Grande wrote.

Tommy Brown, who produced the track, was first to reveal Grande’s participation in the Blackpink track.

Brown uploaded a photo of the song’s title poster on Instagram and tagged Grande.

“Produced and written by me and some of my friends,” Brown captioned the photo.

Gomez thanked Grande in an Instagram story.

“I love working with talented, strong women who kick ass and support one another,” Gomez wrote.

“Ice Cream,” is Blackpink’s second single to be released this year prior the release of their first full-length album in October.

The song will be available in all streaming platforms on Aug. 28.
