Aiko Melendez defends former husband Jomari Yllana, reiterates 'He is still the father of Andre'

Despite already being separated for some time, Aiko Melendez does not want to hear anything unpleasant about her former husband, actor Jomari Yllana.

This she reiterated on Instagram when a netizen pointed out that Jomari is a "disappointing dad."

"Uy wag naman... He is still the father of Andre," she replied.

Some online users assumed the comment is pertaining to Jomari's feud with ex-partner Joy Reyes.

Recall that the latter made huge buzz on social media some weeks ago, revealing the actor-turned-politician had been remiss in sending her and their children financial support.

To bolster her claim, she published a photo of their electric bill, amounting to over P100,000.

The netizen made the comment with Aiko posting about Jomari passing off his racing suit to their only child, Andre.

"Pass on the Torch @andreyllana with his Dad Jomari preppin him for a race on Sunday (heart emoji) swipe left for more pictures," Aiko wrote as caption to series of photo, adding that Jomari used the said racing suit for race in Korea.

"Now its Andre’s turn (heart emoji)."

This is not the first time that Jomari supported Andre's passion for racing.

Recall that in 2017 he handed over a red car to Andre, saying that he has kept it for decades.

"It's just like your kids meeting for the first time. My favorite car I kept for decades is yours now," he said then along with photo of him giving the key to Andre while the red car could be seen in the background.
