888 pass physical, occupational therapist licensure exams

By MB Online The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Wednesday that 729 out of 1,195 passed the Physical Therapist Licensure Examination, while 159 out of 216 passed the Occupational Therapist Licensure Examination given this month. The examinations were given by the Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy in Manila and in Cebu City on February 2 and 3. Zsanfernes Pamintuan Ocampo of the Angeles University Foundation topped the Physical Therapist board exam with a rating of 88.45 percent. Hanah Mae Tampus Corpuz of Velez College, meanwhile, topped the Occupational Therapist board exam with a rating of 83 percent. Velez College emerged as the best-performing school for the Physical Therapist exam with 83 of its 86 examinees passing. The University of the Philippines-Manila was the top-performing school in the Occupational Therapist exam with all 12 of its takers passing.
