Mayor Albee Benitez of Bacolod has broken his silence on rumors linking him to celebrities Ivana Alawi and Angeli Khang.

His full statement:

"As for recent personal matters, I kindly request understanding and respect for privacy to shield all innocent parties involved.

"In my private capacity as a film and TV program producer, my professional interaction with various celebrities is inherent to the nature of the business.

"At this moment, my primary focus is on safeguarding the interests of Bacolod City. - Mayor Albee Benitez."

Recently, the producer-politician was linked to Ivana and Angeli, saying he went out with the celebrities abroad on separate occasions.

Albee is a politician and the founder and owner of Brighlight Productions, one of Cignal's blocktime partners on TV5.

In 2020, Brightlight Productions produced the Metro Manila Film Festival fantasy adventure movie "Magikland"
