Get ready to be entertained and informed as the dynamic trio of sibling senators Alan Peter, Pia Cayetano, and King of Talk Boy Abunda returns for another season of their hit public service program "CIA with BA." Despite its late-night time slot at 11:30 p.m. every Sunday on GMA 7, the first season of "CIA with BA" garnered high ratings as it captured the hearts and minds of viewers with its compelling content, which has featured a variety of topics from abuse and debt to relational issues, and provided legal advice to those in need. The May 7 episode featured a recap of some of the most remarkable complaints solved and issues discussed on the show, as well as updates on the people whose lives have been changed for the better thanks to the program's help. Filipino audiences have warmly welcomed the debut outing of Senators Alan and Pia as on-air legal advisers since its pilot episode on Feb. 5. The program carries on the legacy of their late father and original Compañero of the airwaves, Senator Rene Cayetano, who led and co-hosted the popular legal advice program "Compañero y Compañera" on radio and television from 1997 to 2001. As they enter their second season, Senators Alan and Pia are determined to continue their father's legacy and provide Filipinos with legal advice and guidance. “Gusto ko lang ipaalala sa mga nakikinig sa atin [at mga] nanonood, tulad ng sinasabi ng tatay ko — the late Compañero Rene Cayetano — ‘wag magpaapi, alamin ang batas,” Pia reminds viewers. The second season of "CIA with BA" promises to be even more exciting with the introduction of a new segment called “Fake, Fact, Boom.” Based on the popular game “pik, pak, boom!”, this segment will challenge viewers to separate fact from fiction and to spot fake news stories.
