PRC: 495 passers in February 2021 licensure examination for social workers

More than 490 individuals passed the February 2021 Licensure Examination for Social Workers.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday, Feb. 17, announced that 495 out of 1,473 passed the said examination.

The Social Worker Licensure Examination was given by the Board for Social Workers in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pangasinan, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
The results were released in three working days after the last day of examination, said PRC.

PRC said the date and venue for the oath taking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination will be announced later.

In a Facebook post, the commission said that from April 5 to April 8, 2021, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line.

"Please go to online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope," said PRC.

"Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals," PRC added.
