He said 184 employers will be offering 22,280 jobs, of which 14,574 are for local employment and 7,706 are for overseas.
The first job fair will be held Thursday, November 28, at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City.
The other job fairs will be held at Ayala Malls Legazpi in Albay on December 4; Bacnotan, La Union and Robinson's Galleria South in San Pedro, Laguna on December 5; Robinson's Place Ilocos in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte on December 9; Don Leopoldo Sison Convention Center in Alaminos, Pangasinan on December 11; and Dagupan City Astrodome in Dagupan, Pangasinan on December 16.
On November 30, the Labor Department will conduct a tree-planting and clean-up at the Baseco Compound in Tondo, Manila.
“As we celebrate another milestone in the Department, we also want to emphasize our shared responsibility in spreading awareness on environment protection and conservation,” said Bello.
He said these initiatives are part of their environmental advocacy dubbed, "Green Our DOLE Program."
