Jimuel moves mom Jinkee to tears

by Nick Giongco There seems to be no stopping Jimuel Pacquiao from following the footsteps of his illustrious father Manny in the ring. A deeply-concerned Jinkee Pacquiao posted pictures of his 19-year-old son Jimuel on social media getting pointers from Manny, the reigning WBA welterweight king. Manny, 40, even taught Jimuel how to properly unload combinations with emphasis on footwork.
Previously, Manny and Jinkee were bothered that Jimuel was determined to go into boxing. A few months back, Jimuel engaged in a two-round exhibition match in Alabang but since then hasn’t even signed up to formally enter the amateur ranks. But with father and son seen working out regularly, it seems that will be forthcoming. Jinkee swears that she almost cried upon seeing Jimuel looking very attentive during a workout, digesting every word spoken by his soon-to-be Hall-of-Famer dad. Manny, whose last fight was in January and whose next is being targeted for July 13, had earlier expressed his disapproval of Jimuel’s wish to box. But that’s already a thing of the past.
