For the first time in four years, actor John Lloyd Cruz made his first television appearance since he went on an indefinite leave to attend to personal matters.

During the recent episode of "Wowowin" on GMA, John Lloyd serenaded the audience with his rendition of "Yakap."

After his performance, John Lloyd told TV host Willie Revillame that he's thrilled to be back on television.

"I'm so thankful to you," said John Lloyd in Filipino, adding that he's so excited about what the future holds.

"I'm here because of you, so thank you," added John Lloyd as he embraced Willie.

Willie said that he could relate to the indefinite leave of the actor.

"I've been there, and there are a lot of people who helped me," the game show host said.

Willie, a self-proclaimed fan of the actor, commended John Lloyd for being a good person and a talented artist while at the same time being a loving father to Elias, his love child by former girlfriend Ellen Adarna.

The TV host also revealed that it was showbiz director Edgar "Bobot" Mortiz who "bridged" for John Lloyd's television comeback.

At the same event, Willie acknowledged the presence of actress Maja Salvador, John Lloyd's new talent manager; and her boyfriend Rambo Nuñez, who sat near the stage at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Willie said that viewers should watch out for his upcoming prime-time project with John Lloyd on GMA.

John Lloyd, on the other hand, joined Willie in hosting the "Pera o Kahon" segment.

In the middle of the game, Willie candidly asked John Lloyd if he's ready to fall in love again.

"I'm so ready!" John Lloyd answered.

Then Willie offered John Lloyd to be his talent manager when it comes to his love life.

"Really?" asked John Lloyd.
