In its advisory on Wednesday, the FDA identified the products as Kangen Water, The Original Canola Oil 100%, Beksul Premium Sesame Oil, Fat and Thin Red Kiamoy Pure Powder, and Sanwa Wasabi Powder.
"FDA post-marketing surveillance (PMS) activities have verified that the abovementioned food products have not gone through the registration process of the agency and have not been issued the proper authorization in the form of Certificate of Product Registration," the FDA said.
The FDA noted that consumption of unregistered products may pose potential health hazards, since they have not gone through evaluation and testing.
"The public is advised not to purchase the aforementioned violative products," the agency said.
"Moreover, the public is advised to be vigilant against food products that might not be duly registered with FDA," it added.
The FDA encouraged the consumers to always check if the product has already been registered with the agency by using the embedded Search feature of the FDA website that is accessible at www.fda.gov.ph.
