NAIA housekeepers express fear of losing jobs after viral NAIA pest infestations
The viral posts on pest infestations at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) are sending airport employees in panic over fears that they would lose their jobs.
What further triggered the fear was when Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) General Manager Eric Jose Ines ordered the review of the contract of all services at the NAIA.
In a radio interview on Monday, Ines said there were lapses on the part of the housekeeping and pest control units to clean and maintain the four terminal facilities properly.
He said he is contemplating on terminating the contracts.
But the workers are appealing to the airport management not to push through with the plan finishing their contract.
