A modern scrambler for the city
Royal Enfield (RE) Philippines has just taken the wraps off its Scram 411. The brand says it is an agile, multi-purpose and capable street scrambler.

The new Scram 411 is based on Royal Enfield’s Himalayan adventure bike. With the Scram, RE hopes to take all the desirable qualities of the Himalayan, such as its reliability and versatility, while creating a brand new, more urban-friendly package.
As such, the Scram 411 is also powered by the same, 411cc, fuel-injected, 4-stroke, SOHC, air-cooled single-cylinder engine as the Himalayan. It produces 26-PS at 6,500 rpm and max torque of 32-Nm at 4,500 rpm.

“Scram 411 can navigate a wide spectrum of terrains and challenges,” said Anuj Dua, Business Head for Asia Pacific markets. “When we began work on the Scram 411, we were determined to create a motorcycle that would be distinct in design and purpose, and bring the best of rough road capability to urban riding… In the Philippines, there is a huge potential for agile, urban motorcycles that makes the mean streets feel a whole lot friendlier and SCRAM 411 will be the perfect option for it.”
The new Scram 411 rides on a 41 mm telescopic fork and a rear monoshock. It’s brought to a stop with dual-channel ABS fitted as standard.

As mentioned, the Scram 411 features rugged styling with an urban touch to it. It takes on adventure bike styling cues with its large tank, skid plate, wire wheels, and bar protectors, yet features modern liveries and rib tape.
It’s offered in Graphite Yellow, Graphite Red, or Graphite Blue. The top-end variant comes in in two colorways: White Flame and Silver Spirit.

The Royal Enfield Scram 411 is now available in the Philippines for P311,000 for the base model, with higher end variants in P313,000 and P315,000.
